In this course we transcribed a medieval munscript fragment held at Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Darmstadt: a passage from Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach.
Designed as an introduction to both codicology and paleography, students developed their own strategy to transcribe collaboratively.

This work will be continued in another course where the transcripts will be edited digitally and prepared for publication.
